Wealth Inequality is Good Because Rich People Can Get Pizza 24/7

So says John Tamny, Director of the Center for Economic Freedom at FreedomWorks, in an article for Forbes published on Sunday. And I’m sorry to say that I’m not exaggerating in that headline.

In his article, titled “Surging Wealth Inequality Is A Happy Sign That Life Is Becoming Much More Convenient,” Tamny literally argues that the massive and growing wealth gap between the rich and the poor is a good thing because it means that soon, self-driving cars will be able to deliver pizza at all hours of the night!
